The Frosts: Our travelling adventures!

So much has happened since the last post I am not sure where to begin... the Frosts have certainly been quite busy!

Bria had her two month check up and first round of shots two weeks ago. She is now a whopping 10 pounds 14 ounces and 24 inches long. Ten pounds equates to a heavy car seat to carry around throughout the cold winter months... but we will carry it with joy! Bria met all the landmarks on the Denver Developmental Screening and only cried a little following her immunizations. She continues to be awake more and more through the day and is tracking objects quite well, particularly her Mom and Dad. She has definitely begun to show a preference for us when other people are around. There is nothing more wonderful than taking Bria from someone because she has begun to cry and have her immediately settle down and snuggle in. She also has been making many new squeaks and cries that entertain us quite a bit!

With basketball season underway, Bria and I travelled to Indiana to spend time with my parents while Ryan was up in Chicago at a tournament. We made the trip for the final game of the tournament and were also able to meet up with my Mom's brother and his family for some delicious Chicago-style pizza. It was nice to be able to spend a few days at home and for Bria to spend more time getting to know her Grandma and Grandpa.

We finished out our whirlwind travels by flying to New York to visit Ryan's family. It was exciting for us to be able introduce Bria to her aunts, uncles and cousins for the first time. She slept through all of our flights and managed to continue to sleep through the night despite all of the changes in her surroundings. We did deal with more fussiness than usual Sunday and Monday when we returned since Bria did not want to be put down after being held all weekend. A lesson learned!
